The past six months have been a busy time for nara design. We’ve presented our designs at several markets and our products are now available in two Hobart stores.
We’ve had a fun time sourcing unique fabrics and creating simple and appealing designs for little people.
Below are some examples of our most recent designs. We still have the other clothing posted below available, so if you are interested in anything on this site please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
nara design is an Australian family owned business, based in Tasmania, that manufacturers lovely clothing for little people aged from 0 to 5 years. We use quality fabrics including organic cotton, organic wool and hemp fabrics, low-impact textiles, Japanese fabrics, as well as Tasmanian manufactured woollen blanket fabrics and hand screenprinted fabrics made in Australia. I know I'm biased but I have to start with this picture of my gorgeous daughter wearing one of our dresses.
We have a range of dresses for girls aged 6 months to 4 years.
They are made from lovely textiles like this vintage floral fabric. This design crosses over at the back. It's great for summer but can equally be worn in the cooler months with a long sleeve top and leggings or even jeans (as it's not overly long).

We've also been using Japanese textiles lately, like this lovely butterfly design.
And here's another lovely fabric...and a different design.
And we're still using beautiful organic textiles such as hemp and tencel.
The spots on the dresses are dapples of sunlight!
Nurture the Earth Organic Cotton T-Shirts
These lovely organic cotton Ts have been very popular.
They are available in a range of colours including jade, natural, sky blue, pink, ruby, charcoal, black and chocolate.

Bedding and "My Artwork" Boards
We've also been having fun making all sorts of lovely cot quilts, wraps and blankets; and a range of "My Artwork" Boards to display all your little one's beautiful pieces of artwork.
