Nara Design at Niche Market 1 & 2 April

Dear Friends

It's been a while since I have posted anything but I can assure you that we are still here and working towards at least 3 markets this year, possibly 4.

Last year was really busy and we are pleased in one way that the Hobart Market has decided to only run seasonal market days (1 in Summer, Autumn, Winter & Spring, as well as the Christmas Markets). We'll be there in August for the Winter market with lots of lovely hand knitted items to keep you warm.

We had a fabulous time at the Niche Market in Launceston last year and are looking forward to being there again next week - the 1st and 2nd April at the Tramsheds in Inveresk, Launceston. It's our first market for the year and we've been busy creating some lovely items for little people as well as a few things for grown ups. If you're about, please come and say hi. We will also be there on the 18th and 19th November.

I've been totally in awe of some of the beautiful fabrics I've been able to source from Japan. The fabrics speak for themselves so our designs are simple.

My heart goes out to the people of Japan at this time. Japan is such a wonderful country and offers a fabulous culture. And they do textiles so beautifully.

I've posted some photos below to give you a prevue of what we'll have at Niche. There will also be lots of pants, hand knitted woollens, quilts, dresses, skirts and more. See you there or drop us a line if you can't make it.
